Vanvidd’s second full-length album, Under ei morken rot. The album includes a double vinyl gatefold with a map of a long lost world and lyrics on the inner sleeves. The CD version contains a poster with lyrics and the map.
Under ei morken rot was recorded and produced by the members of Vanvidd, and the final product was mixed and mastered at Dub Studio in Kristiansand by Endre Kirkesola.
Formed in 2013, Vanvidd is a band from Southern Norway that plays folk metal inspired by 19th century Norwegian national-romanticism and folklore. The Vanvidd sound spans everything from cold, grim, and boggy riffage to progressive and orchestral cinematic musical landscapes. All of their lyrics are in Norwegian.
